Today, as we commemorate the **International Day of the Girl Child**, we reflect on the importance of protecting, educating, and empowering every girl to reach her full potential.
Last Saturday, Blissful Hearts Global, in partnership with Luminous Organisation, Rise and Shine, Pathways Women Empowerment, and Reach Out Trust, commemorated this important day under the theme:
“End Child Marriages, Invest in the Girl Child.”
Through drama, poetry, and inspiring speeches, the event provided a platform to raise awareness about the challenges girls face and the importance of ending child marriages while investing in their education, rights, and future.
We were grateful for the support of key stakeholders, including the Victim Friendly Unit, the Ministry of Youth, and the Ministry of Health, who joined us in championing the rights and well-being of the girl child.
Our message remains clear: Let us educate, protect, and empower every girl so she has the opportunity to pursue her dreams, make her own choices, and live her life to the fullest.
