We Are Non Profit Organization
Blissful Hearts is a non-profit organization (awaiting registration). We began by supporting a single child in 2016 in a rural village in Gokwe. Since then, we have grown to serve children in both rural and urban areas. School children in rural areas are frequently at a disadvantage because they have limited access to resources that could improve their education.
This has typically resulted in early marriages, adolescent pregnancies, school dropouts, and drug abuse. In the worst-case scenarios, some children lose their parents and become orphans, which forces the remaining, vulnerable children to start providing for themselves and their siblings at a young age.
Eight sincere Zimbabweans were therefore inspired to band together and work towards supporting these children’s education and general well-being after coming into contact with so many impoverished and rural children.
We Are A Strong Team
Our Approach: Blissful Hearts believes in a holistic approach when it comes to child development. We therefore focus on:
Education: We pay tuition fees for the children from primary level to secondary and provide essential learning materials.
Essential resources: We provide basic commodities to ensure that the children get access to nutritious meals and basic needs like sanitary wear for the girl child.
Impact: Since our inception, Blissful Hearts has impacted the lives of than 25 children.
Areas of Operation: Blissful Hearts will be operating from Hwange West District spreading to all the cities, towns and communities across Zimbabwe.
Target Group: The organizations seek to assist Orphans and Vulnerable Children especially those from marginalized and remote areas around Zimbabwe.
